The lowdown
This is another one of those ‘concept’ cars that isn’t a concept car at all. According to Ford the Paris motor show star gives a glimpse of what we might expect from the next Mondeo, but they’re not fooling anyone: the sheetmetal is pure production new Mondeo. We’ve only had five episodes of series 19 of Top Gear, and it’s all but finished. All that’s left is to air what should have been the 2012 Christmas special.
Just a fortnight after the new Mazda 6 saloon was revealed at the 2012 Moscow motor show, the estate version of the 6 is headed for its own spot in the limelight at the Paris show later this month.
